Indian wine - I don't hate it

Recently, my husband went on a business trip to India and returned with this Sula vineyards Chenin Blanc 2011. After being initially shocked to discover that there is indeed wine produced in India, I put my assumptions aside and gave it a go.

Although I've never been to India, the smell is exactly what I would expect: lively and fruity. However, there was no hint of cow. That's a good thing. It's sweet but not overwhelming, with nice acidity. Excellent with a boil-in-bag panak paneer!

This experience makes me wonder how Indian reds are. J and I are much more particular about reds!
